Corniche Hotel Abu Dhabi

The hotel is very good. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There are plenty of supermarkets and cafes nearby.Corniche is magnificent,but you need a bus or a taxi to go to the beach..,The only problem was early check-in.We informed in advance that we will arrive late at night and we need an early check in. They told us it costs 150 dirhams and promised the room would be ready as well when we arrived. However, the room was not ready, so we slept on the sofa of waiting-room until 7 am. We were checked at 7.30 am and paid additional 100 dirhams. As a result, they didn't even give us the room with two separate beds and with sea view that we booked.

Very spacious room and liked the interlinked rooms for a family. Good location although close to a mosque which was a little disruptive some mornings. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Room was on 7th floor. It was good and quite spacious. The breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly. Plus taxi rank outside is very helpful. Will stay here again without hesitation.

Writing is continuous. Early morning 2 December my wife was admitted to hospital. The hotel security staff were extremely helpful arranging for the ambulance to arrive quickly. From that point onward I stayed with my wife in the clinic but kept my room 1402 on, initially to 11 December, paying in advance. I checked out 6 December. Reception have been very amenable in letting me have 1402 back when my wife is discharged, hopefully by 11 December, maybe sooner when I will check in again for a few days. Reception team's kindness and understanding in the stressful time has been greatly appreciated, knowing when she is discharged we have a temporary 'home' to go to nearby before returning to the UK, latest 17 December
